In Wisconsin, recording fees are uniform statewide. They are a flat amount like in Arizona, rather than an increase per page like most other states.
Transfer and Mortgage Taxes
Transfer taxes are also uniform throughout the state of Wisconsin. It’s worth noting that transfer taxes are customarily seller paid, but this can be negotiated.
Title insurance
Title insurance rates are uniform throughout Wisconsin. In this state, many underwriters offer expedited and full search refinance transaction rates, which are structured differently than standard rates in most states.
