We’ve all heard that one before, right? We’ve probably also heard the common rebuttal: “No, AI isn’t going to steal your job… but someone who knows how to use AI might.” Nice and reassuring, huh?

Well, the book Jim has been reading begs to differ. Like many innovations in technology before it, AI isn’t going to take away jobs so much as it’s going to reshape them. In fact, it already is. In mortgage, underwriters are still vital, but now they have machine learning tools to streamline their workflow and eliminate some margin of error when it comes to reading documents.
